Greetings!

I tried out SoundTrap around half a decade ago(?), and I just fiddled with it. I wanted to make a song, so I did using loops the site provided. it was fun, and I enjoyed it, but I kinda forgot about it and didn't do anything else.

One day, many years later, I got the random idea to make a song, so I did. I got on and just...messed with things until I got an idea I like, messing with loops and beats, seeing what clicked together. eventually, I got an idea going and sometime later, I created Wayward Sirens. I showed it to my family and they really liked it.

Shortly after, I got on to creating a sortof CD cover design for it, after seeing those "anything can be an album cover" videos. I went on a few of those transparent image websites (PNGEgg, PNGTree, etc) and just collected as many mermaid, water and other images, and then went ot work editing and turning them into effects and adjusting everyhting until i was satified with the result, finishing the cover.

Some time passed and eventually, I made a sorta music video(?) for my song, which took me a bit since I've failed to connect audio to videos before using Adobe Premire Rush, but I eventually figured it out.

I've never shown this to anyone outside my immediate family.

 

I have no formal training and little to no experince with making music, I'm just a guy who got inspired tjust...Create. people should attempt to get out there and just create, even if it's stupid little projects that lead to nowhere, just trying new avenues is good for broading one's horizons.

I encourage everyone who sees this site and hears my song to go out and just make something outside of your wheelhouse, any idea you thought would be cool or funny, just make it. Have fun and try, you never know what'll come out of it, and nothing does, who cares, the act of creation if reward enough sometimes.
